Recognized and listed by the International Code Council (ICC) with an ESL-1246 and Marketing Claim Verification ESV-1016, The Cozy Clip from InsulClip has several patents identified as “The Insulated Pipe Hanger/ Clamp Assembly,” which consists of an extruded polyvinyl chloride (PVC), that supports polyethylene (PEX) tubing.
The Cozy Clip is pre-assembled, talon design with compressed thermal insulation made from ½-inch foam insulation with universal sizing, allowing the same clip to accept a variety of piping sizes without purchasing a variety of sized clips.
Laboratory test results demonstrate that the pre-insulated pipe clamp is 21% more efficient and maintains an R3.4 to R7.1 value when compressed, when comparing the usage to an un‐insulated pipe clamp.
